How do I use my own payment on Family Sharing?
Tap your name, then tap Family Sharing. Tap Purchase Sharing. Tap Continue and follow the onscreen instructions. To see which payment method will be billed, tap Purchase Sharing again and look at the Shared Payment Method information.
How do in-app purchases get charged?
If you’re in a Family Sharing group, purchases are charged to your personal Apple ID balance. If you don’t have enough Apple ID balance to pay for the purchase, the remainder is charged to the family organizer’s primary payment method. You can’t charge gifts to your Apple ID balance.
