Why is my rear defroster not working?
Make sure the rear defroster switch and the ignition key are turned on. Disconnect both wires from either side of the defroster grid and touch one end of your tester to each wire. If the light comes on, you have power. If it doesn’t, check for a bad fuse and replace it if necessary.
To clear your windshield, simply press the defrost button and air will be directed up toward the windshield as the air conditioning is activated to dry the air. Turn the temperature setting to high for the quickest defrost or defogging. Once the windshield clears, press the “auto” button.
