“Fireworks Over Franklin” will again be held on Highlands Road across from the Shops at Riverwalk, formerly the East Franklin Shopping Center. This is a park & watch event. Surf City Independence Celebration, July 3, at Soundside Park, 517 Roland Ave, Surf City. Starting at approximately 6 p.m. the Embers will perform. Food trucks will be on hand throughout the evening. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9 p.m. No alcohol.
