What was the conflict in Flipped?

The main conflict in my novel is how Juli feels towards Bryce and how she thinks that he feels the same way towards her but he doesn’t. When Bryce asked out Shelly Stalls to get Juli to back off from him Juli only had it in her head that he was only going out with Shelly so he wouldn’t hurt her feelings.

What was the turning point in Flipped?

We’ve got two big climactic events in this story. The sad climax is that Bryce is a jerk about Juli’s uncle, so Juli stops liking Bryce. The happy climax is that Bryce realizes what a fool he’s been about Juli all these years, so he tries to kiss her.

What made Bryce so angry?

Bryce hopes that talking to Garrett will make him feel better, but instead Garrett acts like a jerk—just like Bryce’s dad—and makes fun of Juli and her family because of her uncle. Bryce gets so angry that he wants to sock Garrett in the face.

All he sees is chicken poop and not a single rooster. The next day, he lies to his dad that Julianna said there was no rooster and once he said that, everything changed.

How did Julianna get the eggs to Bryce?

Julianna started selling the eggs through her neighborhood. To be neighborly, she gives some of the eggs to Bryce for free and she suddenly goes to Bryce’s house everyday to deliver eggs.
