How long does it take to strip concrete?
Walls and columns can be removed after about 24-48 hours. Slabs, with their props left under them, can typically be removed after 3-4 days. Soffits, with their props left under them, can be removed after one week. Props supporting slabs under 15 feet can be removed after one week.
What are the Deshuttering time for slab?

What do you mean by stripping time?
The stripping time defined as structure that gain strength and bear to sustain load after removing of formwork from the structure of member. Formwork or shuttering not remove or release until the structure gain their strength to bear load.
Is code stripping time?
👉 14 days. As shown in the above drawing, if the clear span of the slab is less than or equal to 4.5m., the props can be removed after 7 days. If the slab has a longer span i.e. greater than 4.5m., the props should be removed after 14 days.

What is stripping strength of concrete?
The strength should be determined by test and compared to the structural strength requirements that the design engineer has specified must be reached before stripping. A compressive strength of 500 psi should be considered minimum before concrete can be stripped and exposed to freezing temperatures.
