What is an IAT III?
IAT Level III The training, certification and workforce management requirements of 8140 / 8570 Directive apply to all members of the DoD IA workforce including military, civilians, local nationals, Non-appropriated fund (NAF) personnel, and contractors.
What is DoDD 8140?
DoDD 8140 provides guidance for the training and certification of government employees who conduct Information Assurance functions in assigned duty positions. These individuals must carry an approved certification for their particular job classification.
What is DoD IL6?
IL6 is reserved for the storage and processing of information classified up to SECRET. For a cloud deployment, information that must be processed and stored at IL6 can only be processed in a DoD private/community or Federal government community cloud.
What is a DoD impact level?
Impact Level (IL) Definition: Impact Levels are the combination of: 1. the sensitivity of the information to be stored and/or processed in the cloud; and 2. the potential impact of an event that results in the loss of confidentiality, integrity or availability of that information. Is security plus IAT Level II?
Security+ meets Information Assurance Technical IAT Level II and Information Assurance Management Level I. So, what does all this mean pursuing a certification of CompTIA’s Security+? In short, obtaining a Security+ accreditation meets the certification requirement for IAT Level II (Figure 2).
Is CEH DoD approved?
CEH is now formally integrated into the certification options for U.S. DoD IA Workforce via Change 2 of Directive 8570. CEH is now recognized for CND Analyst, CND Infrastructure Support, CND Incident Responder, and CND Auditor as defined by Directive 8570, Change 2.
