harbor (aka harbour or haven) – is a place where ships, boats, and barges can seek shelter through stormy weather, or else are stored for future use. Harbors can be natural or artificial. port – A port is a facility for loading and unloading vessels; ports are usually located in harbors.
What is the meaning of undock?

How do ships Park?
The specific spot at the pier where a ship is parked, or moored, is its berth. During docking, the captain or pilot will utilize the ship’s side thrusters to gently park the ship next to the pier while the port crew and the ship’s crew work together to tie the lines on the bollards.
How does ship stop?
Stopping a ship is done by increasing the resistance or the drag force and reversing the direction of the propeller . When a ship moves in water , there is a viscous drag generated between the hull surface and the water particles in contact with the hull. And then finally the ship stops.
What is a float dock?
A floating dock is a platform that is supported on air-tight, buoyant pontoons that displace water and allow the dock system to float on the water’s surface. While they’re connected to the shoreline, floating docks are also anchored into their body of water to keep them from floating away.
What basic principle should be taken into consideration when docking undocking?
