What is 4th grade science?
Course Description: In fourth grade, students will experience three science domains; physical science, life science, and earth and space science. During the physical science unit, students learn that energy can be transferred from place to place by sound, light, heat, and electric currents.
What does 4th grade science look like?
Fourth graders study electrical circuits as well as the properties of conductors and insulators. Most elementary schoolers will get an introduction to sound, electricity, plants, animals, and the three states of matter (solid, liquid, and gas).

Can you make an egg bounce?
If you soak an egg in vinegar the eggshell will absorb the acid and break down, or dissolve. The calcium carbonate will become carbon dioxide gas, which will go into the air. What is left is the soft tissue that lined the inside of the eggshell. It will bounce!
