Are they the same? Securus Technologies is the parent company of JPay and we are in the process of merging our services to help you stay connected. Over time we will be moving facilities over to use Securus eMessaging as we continue to improve the experience for you to communicate with your loved ones.

What is the cost of HomeWAV? It is free to create an account with HomeWAV, and our mobile app is also available to download for free. Users pay per minute to communicate with an incarcerated loved one.
How does Securus video Visitation work?
An onsite video session is similar to standard through-the-glass visitation except that you will travel to the jail and visit with your incarcerated loved one using a touchscreen terminal located at the correctional facility’s visitation center.
Can you do video visitation on iPhone?
Video visits on Android and iPhone mobile devices are supported. To see if this is available at your facility click here. If the service is not available at your facility please use a computer or laptop.
How much is a HomeWAV call?
Video calls for most facilities range from 10-50 cents per minute. It is free to set up an account.
How do you use HomeWAV?
The way it works is: Once you are logged into the HomeWAV system, the Inmates station screens display and scroll the Inmates name in green as having a Visitor on-line and ready for a visit. The Inmate simply enters their ID information and the visit can begin.
