How much does a good stripper pole cost?
Dance poles range from around $100 to $500. You may find them cheaper elsewhere but you really don’t want to be spending any less than $100, otherwise your risk injuring yourself. We recommend spending about $200 or over on your first dance pole, this ensures that it will be durable and last longer than a year.
Can you get a pole in your house?
Because most standard home pole models are installed using pressure, you do not have to drill into the ceiling or floor. You will need a stud finder when installing your pole so you can centre the dome on one or two ceiling joists, depending on your ceiling construction.
Can you install a stripper pole anywhere?
You can take it everywhere you want and use it as long as you have the same height in ceiling or have the appropriate attachments to make it fit higher ceiling. You’d better find the joist/ wooden or metal beam in the ceiling using a joist or stud finder. If you don’t it may end up putting a hole in your ceiling.
What is a standard stripper pole?
Poles come in three diameters – 50mm, 45mm and 40mm. If in doubt, go for 45mm as this is the new industry standard and the size found in most studios and at pole dancing competitions. If you have a small grip then you may find a 40mm pole more comfortable when gripping the pole.
Is 40 or 45 mm pole better?
Good for: Less squeezing required for sits and thigh holds VS the 40mm. Overall training: If you can do tricks on the 45mm pole, the 40mm should be a breeze for you as more grip is required while you will have to be more flexible to wrap around a thicker pole.
