Being a good verbal communicator can be quite challenging, at times when people misinterpret what you say and the way it was initially carried out. I would rate myself a 8, since I love talking and since it is in my job spec, I tend to communicate more verbally.

I would give myself a six because although I am generally comfortable communicating with people with whom I am familiar, I greatly dislike public speaking. Rating myself I would say 5, because overall i tend to use more body language and facial expressions. So the person or persons can actually feel the happiness/dislike.
