How do you remove a license plate light bulb?
Remove the cover over the license plate bulb. Every car differs, but most have a tab that you push in, and it slides right out. Remove the bulb from the socket. Sometimes it is a tight fit so you may need to use a screwdriver to pry the bulb loose.
Where is the fuse for the license plate light located?
The license plate lamps are powered by the 10amp left parking light circuit fuse located in the under hood fuse panel. If any of your parking lamps on the left side are out this could be the problem. If those lights are working then the fuse should be good. Fuse is easy to get to so worth pulling out and reseating it or replacing.
Where is the ground wire for license plate light?
On the connector for the license plate light, you have a Green/red wire and a Black wire. The Green/red wire is the 12 volt feed, the Black wire is ground.
