We’re happy to announce a few enhancements to our Canvas LTI tool, which gives you individual account provisioning and the ability to embed BrainPOP topic single sign-on links in your Canvas course materials. There’s now a Rich Text Editor button and Course Navigation links to our existing Canvas LTI integration.

How can BrainPOP be used in the classroom?

BrainPOP is a great way to introduce a new topic or concept and get kids engaged. To set students up for active viewing, remember to pause the movies and engage kids when a new vocabulary word is introduced, paraphrase what just happened, or make a prediction.

Can I embed BrainPOP?

You can use the Rich Text Editor to select and embed BrainPOP topic LTI links directly into your Canvas assignments, rather than selecting the external tool submission type below the editor. There is also a link along the left hand side, which will provide single sign-on to the BrainPOP homepage.

How do you share videos on BrainPOP?

You can also share an assignment you have already created, directly from your dashboard:

  1. Go to your teacher dashboard in BrainPOP and locate the assignment you want to share.
  2. Click the three dots at the right end of the assignment box.
  3. Select ‘Share to Google Classroom’

Is BrainPOP easy to use?

How do you make a student account on BrainPOP?

1) Go to www.brainpop.com and click on the Enter Code button in the upper right hand corner of the screen. 2) Enter the Class Code. should sign in using their existing username. If a student does not yet have a username, click Sign Up Now!
