The rooster (Percy) was adapted from the weathervane that was placed on the top of the first Primrose School. Today, we incorporate Percy as the leader of the Primrose Friends. Percy’s name is a combination of Primrose founders, Paul and Marcy’s names – “Pe” (Paul Erwin) and “rcy” (Marcy) = Percy.
