Why is Progyluton used?
Primolut® N to treat irregular, painful or heavy periods. to treat endometriosis (where tissue from the lining of the womb is present in places where it is not normally found) to treat premenstrual syndrome (also known as premenstrual tension, PMS or PMT) to delay periods.
How do you take hormone pills?
Take one pink tablet (containing only estrogen) once daily for 3 days, then take one white tablet (containing estrogen and progestin) once daily for 3 days. Repeat this process until you finish all the tablets on the card. Begin a new blister card the day after you finish the last one.
Do you have a period with Femoston 2 10?
Break-through bleeding and/or spotting occurred in approximately 10% of the women; amenorrhoea (no bleeding or spotting) occurred in 21-25% of the women for months 10 to 12 of treatment. – With Femoston 2/10, approximately 90% of women had regular withdrawal bleeding.
Who needs Femoston?
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for oestrogen deficiency symptoms in postmenopausal women at least 6 months since last menses. The experience in treating women older than 65 years is limited. Femoston 1/10 and Femoston 2/10, are continuous sequential hormone replacement therapies.
Which medicine is best for delaying periods?
Norethindrone (norethisterone) is a prescription medicine that can delay the start of a period. Your doctor my prescribe you three tablets a day, starting three to four days before you expect your period to begin. Once you stop taking the medicine, your period should begin within two to three days.
Can Femoston cause anxiety?
Common Femoston side effects (affect between 1 in 10 and 1 in 100) Vaginal thrush. Depression, anxiety, irritability or mood changes.
What are the pink tablets in Femoston?
The colour ingredients used in Femoston 2/10 is Opadry OY-6957 pink (for 2 mg estradiol tablet only) and Opadry OY-02B22764 yellow (for combination tablet with 2 mg estradiol and 10 mg dydrogesterone). The tablets contain sugars (as lactose).
Do you have a bleed on Femoston-Conti?
Important information about Femoston-conti. 🔹 This medicine will not usually cause a monthly menstrual bleed. However, you may experience spotting or breakthrough bleeding during the first few months of treatment. Forgetting or missing a dose may increase the likelihood of breakthrough bleeding.
