Can I change my student finance application once submitted?
If a student’s details change after they’ve applied for student finance, they can simply update their application. Before the start of their course, they can use their online account to make changes to: their choice of course.
What happens if you make a mistake on student finance application?
I have applied for the wrong course or made a mistake on my application, what do I do? You can complete a CO1 form, this is provided by Student Finance and you will be able to amend the details on your application.

Can you change university after first year?
It’s sometimes possible to move straight from one university to another, usually in the first few weeks of your first year, or between years if the courses are similar enough. If you want to transfer during a year, you’ll need to get a confirmation from the new university to show to your current university.

You can apply from February and you don’t need to have a confirmed offer of a place at uni to start the process. The maintenance grant and Special Support Grant are means tested and help you pay for additional course-related costs such as books, travel, equipment, and childcare.

Yes, it is possible to retake your final year at university but it’s important to go in with the right mindset and you’re prepared as you can generally only retake it once. While doing your retake all your grades will be capped at 40% and you would also have to pay a fee for each retake.
Can I change university after 1st year UK?
If you get a good mark in your first year, you may be able to transfer into another similar course straight into the second year. After January, you can start to look at what’s available to transfer to with the credits you’ll have at the end of the year. You will have something to offer regardless of what you do next.
