Can you share Nintendo Points?

No. Per the My Nintendo Terms of Service, My Nintendo Points cannot be transferred or sold, or combined with another My Nintendo Account. We are also not able to combine two different accounts together into one.

How do I combine Nintendo funds?

Via the Nintendo website:

  1. Go to accounts.nintendo.com and sign in to your Nintendo Account.
  2. Select Shop Menu on the left side.
  3. In the Shop Menu, click on Merge Funds on the lower right.
  4. The current balances from your Nintendo Account and Nintendo Network ID will appear.
  5. Your balances will be merged.

Can I transfer my games bought on Wii to other Nintendo devices?

No. Nintendo 3DS and Wii U games purchased through Nintendo eShop do not carry over to Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Switch is an all-new way to play, and does not include backwards compatibility with digital or physical games designed for other systems.

How do you get free Gold Points on Nintendo?

Gold Points can be earned by purchasing eligible digital games for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, and Wii U or DLC for Nintendo Switch from the official Nintendo website, Nintendo eShop, or by redeeming a retailer-issued download code.

Can you combine 2 Nintendo accounts?

No. We are not able to combine two different Nintendo Accounts together into one. Please note that you can link up to 8 Nintendo Accounts to a single Nintendo Switch console. Games that you’ve purchased are playable by everyone on the active Nintendo Switch console for your Nintendo Account.

Can I use the same Nintendo Account on my 3DS and switch?

Merging the funds between a Nintendo Account and NNID will allow you to share your Nintendo eShop balance between your Nintendo Switch, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS family systems, and the online Game Store. Once the funds are combined, the balance will be shared for as long as the NNID and Nintendo Account are linked together.
