Why did Liu change colors?
As the Post and Brooklyn athletic departments merge to become OneLIU, so will their school colors. The arrays of green and gold that drape across Post’s campus will soon become a distant memory, and shades of blue and gold will take their place this fall to represent a unified LIU.
Is Liu Post a party school?
If you’re into the party life, I wouldn’t reccomend this school. The campus is quiet on the weekends, which I personally found relaxing, but if you want more emphasis placed on greek life, this isn’t the right match.

You’d have to rather a bar/club for your social life than a frat/sorority. There aren’t any huge parties unless a friend has an off campus house. The campus may be small but the city around it is amazing. Brooklyn is community-like and Manhattan is 7-10 minutes away on the subway.
