Are PLC points added to Leaving Cert points?

A PLC is like a second chance at the Leaving Cert points. Except you are studying subjects (modules) in a course you chose. With your results from your level 5 year in a PLC, you can then apply to the CAO.

What PLC level is the Leaving Cert?

PLC courses are generally found at Levels 5 and 6 of the Irish National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ), meaning learners graduate with a Level 5 Certificate or a Level 6 Advanced Certificate in a given subject area.
