How do I get word to read to me?

  1. Add the Speak button to the Quick Access Toolbar. Click the Customize arrow on the Quick Access Toolbar.
  2. Click the Speak button to listen to your text.
  3. Select the Read Aloud command.
  4. Change the Speak preferences in the Windows Control Panel.
